We Take Health & Safety very Seriously

Dual Roofing Contractors Limited take Health and Safety very seriously. It is the company’s intention that its work will be carried out in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions and all reasonably practicable measures taken to avoid risk to it’s employees or others who may be affected.

Management and supervisory staff have the responsibility for implementing this policy throughout the company and must ensure that health and safety considerations are always given priority in planning and day to day supervision of work.

The management and staff of the company monitor the operation of this policy. To assist them in this respect, the company appoint a safety supervisor to visit sites and workplaces to give advise on the requirements of the relevant statutory provisions and safety matters generally. This includes updating and any changes in Health and Safety law resulting to our works.

CDM regulations and Dual Roofing.

These regulations now implement the EC directive (92/57/EEC) which relates to temporary or mobile construction sites. These regulations came into effect on 31st March 1995.

The regulations apply to all projects where construction work is due to last more than 30 days, or involve more than 500person days, and where 5 or more persons will be on site at any one time. Not withstanding this, the regulations apply to all demolition and dismantling work.

Clients should note that the requirements of the regulations would be amplified in due course by an approved code of practice. This will give further guidance on competency, the Health and Safety plan, and the Health and Safety file.

If you have any queries on Health and Safety planning please do not hesitate to contact us.
